This week’s RagFriday featured service member is Corporal Justin J Kienzle of Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Corporal Kienzle joined the United States Marine Corps in 2004. After graduating boot camp later that year, Kienzle was sent to MOS (Marine Occupational Specialty) school near Fort Knox, Kentucky.

In 2006, he was deployed for the first time to Fallujah, Iraq with the Combat Logistics Battalion 5 Heavy Ordinance Recovery. After completing this deployment, Kienzle returned to his family but was not home long before returning to Fallujah again, this time with the Combat Logistics Battalion 8, Security Company.

Kienzle completed his time in the United State Marine Corps in 2008 as a non-commissioned officer. He has since returned to Oklahoma where he lives to this day working as a firefighter for a department right outside his hometown.

Kienzle is the older brother and hero to Rapid Application Group LLC Marketing Manager Kat Kienzle.

22 a day is 22 too many.

Join us here at the RAG Friday Foundation to remember those you fought so hard both on and off the battlefield.

These brave service members survived fighting a war overseas only to return home and have to continue a deeper fight inside their head. Sadly, sometimes they win the fight but the battle in their head wins the war.

To all those pictured, you will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. To those still fighting, DO NOT GIVE UP. You have a family behind you and we are RAG Friday. You are not alone!

Our RagFriday highlight for this week is a young man who is very close to the RagFriday Foundation and the Rag Friday family.

Marine Corporal Sean Osterman was born January 11, 1988 in Princeton, Minnesota. His father was Marine Reserve Colonel Anthony Osterman, so loyalty to his country ran deep. He joined the Marine Corps at 17 on the Delayed Entry Program after much thought into which branch was right for him.

Though Sean was found his time in the service rewarding, he had plans to attend college upon completing his service. Sean was a dedicated and helpful Marine not only to the Corps but to his fellow marines often assisting them if they had any questions.

Sean gave the ultimate sacrifice on December 16, 2010 while on his second deployment to Afghanistan.

Corporal Osterman you are now and will always be close to our hearts. You are a member of the RAG Friday family and you will never be forgotten. ‘til Valhalla!

Hey RAG Friday Family!

We have great news; OUR SHIRTS ARE HERE!!

For those that do not know, the RAG Friday Foundation began in 2018 to help veterans returning to civilian life. Co-founders Terry Hill and Jason Dickman wanted to create a foundation that gives back to those you have given the most. Terry is a 13-year veteran of the US Army so he personally knows just how hard it can be to transfer back to civilian life, this foundation is especially close to him and to all of us.

If you would like to show your support by purchasing one of our shirts or donating to the RAG Friday Foundation, please follow the link. We have 6 different options!
